  • Lines Between The Eyebrows - the "ll" in between your eyebrow
  • Eyebrow Lift
  • Elevate corners of mouth
How Does BOTOX® Work?
BOTOX ® is injected directly into the frown muscle or the wrinkle area. Within 24-72 hours the muscles start relaxing and the wrinkles begin disappearing. Your tired look will be gone. It takes between 3-7 days for the results of your Botox treatment to be fully noticeable. At times, results may look slightly uneven at first, as the Botox may “kick in” at different rates.

Bet you can't wait to look younger and more refreshed!

How Long Does Botox Last?

It only takes a few minutes to inject BOTOX ® and its effects last anywhere from 3-4 months. Most people repeat the treatment every 4 months to maintain their wrinkle free appearance. The results of Botox are best with regular and continued treatments over time.

Be sure to schedule your next visit within 3 months for optimal and continuous results.

With repeated injections the effects might last longer.

Does Botox have any side effects?

The most common side effect is temporary bruising at one or more of the injection sites. This can be covered with make-up. On occasion, the BOTOX ® can migrate (leak) into nearby muscles causing temporary weakness. There are rare cases of drooping of an eyelid or asymmetry of facial expression. The chance of experiencing a side effect depends which muscles are injected. Any side effect is temporary, as the effects of BOTOX ® are completely reversible.

Is Botox safe?

BOTOX ® treatments have been used over the years to safely and effectively treat many muscular diseases as well as wrinkles. Only those muscles injected have temporary weakness.

There have been no reports of permanent damage caused by the injection of BOTOX ® . Local bruise at the site of injection or slight drop of the eyelid are usually temporary side effects in some cases. In general, the use of BOTOX ® has proved to be safe.

Thousands of patients receive BOTOX ® every year and it has become a popular treatment for reversing the signs of aging.
What results should I expect from a BOTOX® treatment?
BOTOX ® can give you a more youthful appearance by smoothing out the dynamic wrinkles. Static wrinkles that are due to aging and sun damaged skin will not be affected as they are not caused by facial expressions. BOTOX ® does not tighten skin or replace the need for laser resurfacing or a facelift. It is often used in conjunction with other procedures though, such as laser wrinkle reduction, laser resurfacing or collagen injections, for a combined effect.

Botox Cosmetic injection are done with a fine needle and require no anesthetic and no recovery time. By carefully choosing the muscles to treat, only the wrinkle-producing muscle is weakened which preserves your natural facial expression. Treatment takes about 15 minutes. Most patients can return to work immediately. Patients should avoid strenuous physical activity for the first 24 hours after the injection.

Results are not immediate. It usually takes three to five days to notice a reduction in muscle activity and up to 2 weeks for a full effect.
