Pigmentation, the medical term for darker-colored patches of skin can make you look much older than your age. It can appear on the face, hands, décolletage, neck and shoulders .
Also known as age spots and sun spots, pigmentation is caused by the suns UVA rays that penetrate deep within the skin, stimulating melanin production. Most likely your pigmentation damage is an accumulation of 10-20 years of sun exposure that has surfaced into brown discoloration and spots that have now become visible on your skin.

Common Questions About A Laser Peel:
HOW DOES THE LASER PEEL WORK?
The Laser beam is scanned over a treatment area to accurately ablate (vaporize) a very thin layer of skin, removing the old, sun damaged skin.
HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST?
After the laser peel, new skin is formed. Sunblock is a major requirement to maintain your new skins complexion. Exposure to sun can re-trigger melanin and re-create brown discolored skin. A post skincare regiment is required to maintain blemish free skin.
IS THE LASER PEEL TREATMENT PAINFUL?
The treatment is not very painful. A slight stinging feeling during the treatment is well tolerated.
IS THE TREATMENT COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance.
HOW MUCH DOES THE LASER PEEL TREATMENT COST?
A Laser Peel Treatment cost is $500.00
HOW MANY LASER TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
Most often a single laser peel provides approximately 5 microdermabrasion treatments in one session. For fair to medium sun-damage one treatment offers excellent lightening.
WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE?
Avoid sun exposure for 4 to 6 weeks before and after any laser treatment. You should not have any chemical peels or microdermabrasion treatments for one month prior to each treatment.
HOW WILL MY FACE LOOK AFTER THE TREATMENT?
You will need approximately 3 days for the peel to slough off and for your new skin to be revealed.
SHOULD I CONTINUE TO USE ANY CREAMS?
We require a pre-treatment cream to prepare the skin for treatment. Post skin care is recommended to decrease risks of discoloration.
