Spider Vein Removal Laser Treatment
Do you have broken capillaries on your face or legs? They look like purple-bluish, or red, thin thread like size vessels which are commonly referred to as spider veins.
When they are on your face, they usually appear on the nose, cheeks, and chin. On you legs they can be found in any area whether it be upper or lower legs and/or ankles. Spider veins are also called broken capillaries.
While they are not painful, spider veins are not very pretty and they can be embarrassing. The Candela’s GentleYAG® laser can quickly and effectively remove spider veins
with minimal discomfort. It works wonderfully well, and it generally takes 1-3 sessions to clear vessels. Treatments should be spaced approximately 6 weeks apart. You should not have sun exposure in the area to be treated either prior to or for at least 4 weeks post your treatment.
Some vessels that are larger or deeper in your skin
may need to be injected via sclerotherapy.
Besides spider veins
on your legs, we can also treat vessels that are on other areas of your body such as neck or chest. Additional conditions that are vascular such as angiomas and rosacea can also be treated with laser.
